Hi, I'm Amy and I live at the foot of the Elkhorn Mountains near Baker City, OR with my husband and four children. We moved here in 2016 (my husband grew up in Baker City) and love exploring the mountains with our children.

I have had a bit of hard time finding good information on kid-friendly hikes in the area. I started the Eastern Oregon Family Hiking Guide, so I can share my knowledge with other families who would like to explore the area. We have only explored a very small portion of the trails available and I hope to add to this guide through the years.

Hikes are organized by difficulty area and region. Please note the difficultly levels are based on difficulty for a child.
